Living in a house with two kitty cats Jack and Baby the litter mess in the laundry room can be quite a job to keep clean. No matter what you do the litter is gonna stick to the bottom of their feet and they will track some out on the floor. With this large twenty-four by twenty-two cat litter mat it does slow the litter mess on the floor quite a bit. I am sure it would catch it all if I could somehow train them to walk out to the end of the mat but I can never see that happening. But as I said it does stop an awful lot of it making less work for me. The mat has actually two layers to it. The bottom layer and a honeycomb type layer on the top that seems to catch the litter and the bottom layer holds it in place. To clean you just fold it up and empty from the center of the mat.
