Wall Guard

For some time I have had it in my head to put an extension rod under my kitchen sink to hold spray bottles.. This way I would have more room under the kitchen sink. and at the same time it would make it easier to keep up with my spray bottles.. Yes most of them are used in the kitchen area. Just putting an extension rod up didn't work for the rod would slide down. I came across the Wall Guard for Pressure Gates and thought right away that this was the answer to my project. And they work perfectly.. The wall guard has a center hole in it which a screw can be inserted  and with the indention in the wall guard the end of the rod stays in place.

The wall guard is made of a type of rubber and is white in color. It also has a roughness on the back. These are also, as their intended use,will protect your wall from scaring or damage.

Salt Lamp

I was visiting  my grandson and heard him and a friend of his talking about a salt lamp and decided right away I was gonna get me one. Well the very next week I got the opportunity to review one.. I LOVE IT! I have always had sinus problems and in this I would wake up with my nose dry each morning and now I am not. I was having a few problems sleeping and since I burn the salt lamp all night that too has eased up.. I am sleeping all night most every night now. I love this salt lamp. It comes with the lamp on a wooden base. The cord for the light with a dimmer switch, which will go to a somewhat bright light to a very light light which you can barley see it is lit. Along with extra bulbs.

Youga Strap

To begin with I would like to say I have never done yoga before but after a relative was advised by a physician that it would be good for them not only for physical reasons but for stress relief... I decided I would look into it and when I got the opportunity to test the yoga strap I jumped at it so I would have what was needed when attempting this yoga. This strap is approximately 98 inches long and has a slip buckle on the end for fastening to make the loop needed for stretching. It is made of a durable fabric that can handle the stretching and will not give as long as the slip buckle is done properly.

Mulit colored bubble air stone

The multi colored bubble air stone is a great new addition to my aquarium. I love the effect it gives my aquarium.. the peacefulness of watching an aquarium is so relaxing. Now with the added bubbles with the LED lights just makes it perfect. The bubble stone is round with the lights in the center. The light changes constantly from one color to the next.  This comes with the hose to attach it to your aquarium pump and the bubble stone with the light. You just plug the hose to your pump and to the stone and plug it in and it starts working right away. I placed a bit of the gravel on the stone to help hold it in place. My only con with this is the placement of the cord coming from the light. It is placed at an odd area making it hard to hide the cord.. I don't like the hoses and wires to show and it is really not long enough to bury it in my 55 gal aquarium. But I do love this little bubble stone.. My aquarium is in my bedroom and the LED light makes a perfect night light.

Universal Camera lens for Iphone/ipad

The detachable universal camera lens for the iphone or ipad is fun to play with if you are looking to give your pictures a  different look. The lens gives a fisheye effect to your pictures. This comes with five separate pieces, the attachment that goes on your phone, two lens that have a magnetic ring to hold it onto the attachment, and two lens covers. Also there is a little bag to keep the small pieces all together when not in use.  There is a different effect with both lens. and can be fun to play with.

Majestic Pure Lavender Essential Oil

I have been using lavender essential oils for some time now. The Majestic Pure Lavender Essential Oil

 does smell a bit different than the regular lavenders I have used in the past . It also has a VERY oily feel to it more oily feeling than the ones I have used in the past. I have used Lavender for bug bites, bow bows, and even sprained ankles.
 I had a mosquito bite and applied this oil and it does not work quite as well as the other lavender. Although I do feel it is good for putting on the dogs and cats to repel the fleas  for it is the smell that repels them.

Lighted water pump

I purchased this little lighted pump with the thoughts of adding it to my large Urn fountain I had in my front yard.. But they were not compatible, which was my fault, no one else's. So when this happened I thought,  now what am I gonna do with this little pump with beautiful colored lights.. The mind went to working so I put it in a fountain I had in my back yard that only had a pump which had quit working some time ago. After getting it positioned and everything working proper, I am very happy with this little light pump. It is small and has a dial on the side to adjust the flow of the water.  The water flow goes really strong or not so powerful .. In my fountain  I had to reduced the pressure with the little dial on the side. The water shot out over the waterfall area before I turned the dial down.  So it is somewhat strong.  The lights are not real bright but they do add a bit of color.

Roman Chamomile Essential Oil

I purchased the Roman Chamomile Essential Oil and have found it very rewarding. I sometimes have trouble sleeping but when diffusing this oil, I actually get a very good nights sleep. The Roman Chamomile is a great essential oil for someone under stress, or if your going through a period of depression, loneliness,or even anxiety. I am not a doctor this is just my opinion of this oil.. I feel it helps me. I find the oil to have a very calming effect. It is an oil that is safe to use in the room with babies although a lot of the oils are not safe for babies.. I am not going to tell you it is the same or different from other brands of Roman Chamomile for I have not used the other brands in this particular oil. I only know how it has worked for me. Insulated Water Bottle

 I really put the Hydronk Ultimate Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle to the test to check to see if cold water would really stay cold in it.. I filled it with cold water from my frig and then set it out on the grill. The grill being black making it even hotter than our hot Louisiana weather..I had all intentions of bringing it inside to check it late in the afternoon but naturally having company I forgot all about it.. I went outside this morning checking my flowers and there it set on the grill.. I naturally thought the water would be warm after setting all day out in the weather... OH MY GOODNESS!!! The water was still cold. Almost as cold as it was when I first put it in the bottle even  after sitting in the Louisiana heat all day.

The cap also surprised me. It goes on and off really easily and I thought it would leak... Again it totally surprised me. It does not leak the least bit. This bottle is really amazing. I would give it fifty stars if allowed.

It is light weight and a beautiful fashionable  green color..

When I got the opportunity to review the seven foot string of lights on the copper wire. I got so excited.I just love these little lights. They are easy to use in your decorating. I have a glass antique vase that means very much to me along with her son's antique marble collection of 325 marbles that mean very much to me. I placed the lights and marbles in the antique vase layering them. The lights are battery operated and the little battery box is small enough to sit behind the vase without it being seen. If you have something you been wanting to display in a unique way, these little tiny lights on the copper wire is the answer.

Those who really know me: the vase belonged to Aunt Adell and the marbles, yes all 365 of them belonged to Tommy Vaughn..

A little something different...

Ok so I get it. Those that have looked at my blog probably think I do nothing but shop and do reviews.. Well that's just not true.. One of the things I do is machine embroidery. Yes it is one of my hobbies.  I do my best to keep myself busy. My grandmother always said "An idle mind is the Devils workshop" and we all know that is true. If you keep yourself busy, you are keeping your mind busy. It helps to relax you and helps to keep you from thinking of the problems you have in your life and this world we live in.. So keep busy find something to do. I cannot understand someone saying they are bored, for if they will open their minds there is always, and I mean ALWAYS something that can be done. Whether it is mowing the yard, cleaning the house, or whatever you do.. Keep busy.  

So back to my embroidery .. this is a little job I got the pleasure of doing for a very nice lady. Yes there's gonna be another set of twins arriving soon. A girl and a boy. Feel free to leave a comment and tell me your opinion,.

Folding Shovel

This little shovel reminds me so much of the old military shovels that my husband used to have. I have wanted one for a long time to go in my truck. I like to have one in there for various reasons one being able to dig up a plant on the side of the road in the ditch. Yes we do that in the country.The shovel is made of good quality material and folds up completely and fits in a little bag for storing and it fits great under the back seat in my truck. The handle is not just a straight type handle it actually has a handle on it which makes it easier for digging for me when digging up plants. It has a nice point on the end of the shovel itself, which helps it to cut into the ground. It also has a pick attached to it which could be used for various reason.

The shovel is just heavy enough to do the job but not too light that it will bend easy.

Stainless Coffee Strainer... Yes I love coffee

First off I have been a heavy coffee drinker for most of my life. I love my coffee. Years ago people had what was called a drip coffee pot. The coffee was put in this little metal strainer and then the water would be poured over the strainer.. Yes much like the the stainless steel pour over dripper only you would be making several cups at one time instead of just one cup. The coffee would have such a rich robust flavor. When I use this stainless coffee strainer the flavor of the coffee is much like the old drip pots. I really like this little strainer which can be used for either coffee or tea, Yes even herbal teas.  The strainer is also great if your power goes out and you want coffee as long as you have a way of heating up your water. I have a gas range so for me there is no problem.

The strainer fits perfect on top of your coffee mug or cup. It is dishwasher safe.

BAKERZO Baking Mats

I have always been a bit "ole school" when it comes to my kitchen and am sometimes hesitant on trying new things such as the cooking mats. I have always used parchment paper to line my cookie sheets whether it was for baking cookies or my homemade rolls.. But at the same time I don't like throwing money in the garbage and that is exactly what I have been doing over the years using parchment paper. With these cooking mats I save money. There is also no need for greasing or spraying the pans. Another money saver.  My baking goods don't stick to the pan with the mats and the clean up is a breeze just wipe them down with warm water.

Crafts 4 all Permanent Markers

I purchased these permanent fabric markers to be used in my craft room. You never know when you are gonna need permanent markers. From past experience I know  if you have a family member in a nursing facility, you have to put their  names on their clothing etc. These markers are perfect for that .

The Crafts 4 All fabric markers come in twelve different colors. The markers have a fine point tip on one end and a wide tip on the opposite end. When using the wide tip it seems to run more than when using the fine tip..This was using on T-shirt knit type fabric.   But maybe I just need more practice. I am no artist.

I was looking for some Jojoba Oil for an essential oil recipe I found and purchased this oil  I really didn't know much about it but now I must say I love it. It can be used for so many things. I purchased the Rolimate Deluxe 14-Piece Wooden Magnetic Fishing Game for my granddaughter to play with when she comes to visit. I often play games with her like counting a stack of books as she hands them to me. I felt this could be a new game for us to play together. Our little princess will be two her next birthday and we play games with her to teach her. This little fishing game will help to teach her coordination.

The Safecard card holder is just the best little card holder. It blocks  RFID readers. It has a total of seven compartments. With the divided compartments the cards just drop in and easily removed when needed and are not overly tight making it hard to remove like the sleeves for RFID protection. I like this much better than the sleeves. It has a little snap lock for opening and closing  My ID card which is a little larger than a credit card also fits in it nicely and helps me to keep everything right together. which is a plus.

French Press Coffee & Tea bundle

I have been drinking coffee pretty much most of my life. I have had coffee made from a drip coffee pot, a percolator, even from a syrup can on a campfire, but had never had it made from a French press. I must say I love coffee from the French Press. The French Press gives it such a robust taste and I love my coffee strong with a rich taste, not watered down and weak. This press seems to be very nicely made  of stainless steel and glass. It has four screens which help keep the grounds from going into your cup. There is a long handled spoon for measuring your coffee and a stainless spoon for stirring. The glass container sets in a nice little stainless stand.

Camellia Brand Lady Cream Peas

When I saw the cream peas on Amazon it brought back memories of my grandma, she would raise some cream peas every year. I haven't seen them in dry form in the store and just had to have them. As soon as I got my package in the mail I measured some out and washed them, put them in a pot with a small amount of smoked bacon, salt, pepper and some water.  I had them for supper with some corn bread and hot peppers. Oh so good..

The peas were clean with no rocks. Needed very little cleaning, just washing.

Repsol Care Body Brush Set

I must say I love my four piece Repsol Care brush set. It includes a dry skin body brush, an anti cellulite massager brush which also has a 16.5 inch detachable handle that fits both brushes. The bristles on the dry skin brush has natural boar bristles.These bristles are very coarse which is needed when removing dry skin.  Each have a little fabric handle attached making it easy to slide your hand through and holding when not using the long handle.

Also included is the facial exfoliating brush which also has the boar bristles. To me these are a bit too coarse for the face. But each person is different so it may be perfect for someone else if looking for a coarse bristle brush.

Body brush set

Living in a house with two kitty cats Jack and Baby the litter mess in the laundry room can be quite a job to keep clean. No matter what you do the litter is gonna stick to the bottom of their feet and they will track some out on the floor. With this large twenty-four by twenty-two cat litter mat it does slow the litter mess on the floor quite a bit. I am sure it would catch it all if I could somehow train them to walk out to the end of the mat but I can never see that happening. But as I said it does stop an awful lot of it making less work for me. The mat has actually two layers to it. The bottom layer and a honeycomb type layer on the top that seems to catch the litter and the bottom layer holds it in place. To clean you just fold it up and empty from the center of the mat.

SunGrow Digital Thermometer for Aquariums

The SunGrow Digital Thermometer for Aquariums is a great little thermometer.  It is small in size and seems to be accurate. I compared it to my other thermometer that is inside the aquarium. This digital thermometer is much easier to read than the regular thermometer that floats around.  It attaches to the outside of the aquarium with a little suction cup. It has a small wire that goes from the digital display to the inside of the aquarium. I have mine attached to the back wall about the center of the glass to get an accurate reading of the temperature of the water of my 55 gallon aquarium. My only dislike for this thermometer is the wire is attached at the bottom of the display, instead of the top making it harder to hide the wire. If it was at the top it would be easier to keep the wire out of site. Although I have managed to keep it hidden. This is a great little thermometer.

Kitchen Mate Stainless Biscuit Cutter

The Kitchen Mate Stainless Biscuit cutter is much more than I expected it to be. So much nicer than the ones I previously had. These are of a good quality stainless and are not flimsy at all making them easy to use. These will last you a lifetime. Not only are they made of quality stainless but they are also deep set with a ripple around the base. They are ideal, not only for making biscuits but are great for making cookies. They could be used in cake decorating as well as cutting bread for making pretty little sandwiches for your party.
There are five in the set ranging from one and a half inch up to three and one fourth inch.  They come with a ring that helps keep them together for easy storage when not in use.

Colore Water Color Paint

My granddaughter is taking art in school and is enjoying it therefore this being said I purchased the colore water color set. There are twenty-four colors in the set. One Chinese white, three shades of yellow, flesh orange and four shades of red from rose to crimson. There are also four shades of blue ranging from Prussian blue to Ultramarine blue. and four shades of green emerald being the lightest and hooker's green being the darkest. One shade of violet.  A burnt sienna, burnt umber and a raw umber then paynes grey and a black. These are all nice rich colors.

According to my granddaughter the colors work perfect with no problems.

Colore Paint Brush Set

I purchased the Colore Acrylic paint sets for my craft room and paints are no good without paint brushes. That being said I also purchased their paint brush set which consist of thirty six paint brushes. Twelve for oil painting, twelve for acrylic and twelve for watercolor and a nylon case for storage. I am not a painter but in my opinion for my crafting, this is a perfect paint brush set. The bristles are nice. I am not sure what they are made of but I do know they are not coming out as you use them like some I have had before.  They are long handled brushes just as described by seller.

I purchased the Colore Acrylic paint set for my craft room supply of paints. You never know in a craft room what new craft you want to try, therefore I try to keep my room well supplied and these acrylic paints is just what I needed to help my inventory for fun.. This set comes in twenty four colors. There are three shades of yellow, a flesh color, orange and then three shades of red. In the blues there are four shades and the lightest being a cerulean blue. Next is the shades of green there are also four shades of green going from a light shade into a dark.  One violet and then then two shades of sienna   The next in the color palette are the umber and of this shade are two a burnt umber and a raw umber.. To me the raw umber is what in the military would be called olive drab. The next  is the grey which is very light and then the Lamp black and last is the white.
All tubes are 12 ml in size which aren't real large but for just crafting or small jobs they are the perfect size.

Organic Lavender Oil

I have been using lavender oil and other essential oils for approximately two years now and when I start running out of lavender I get to searching for more. Lavender is the must have oil of all the essential oils. There are so many uses for it such as putting a bit in a diffuser along with lemon and peppermint essential oil for sinus type allergies..  Or if you are having problems sleeping put some in the diffuser or a drop  on your pillow and have a good night of sleep.
My little great granddaughter fell and got a little  bump on her head, I applied some of this oil and within minutes it was already going down.. It is the perfect first aid oil.
 You can't go wrong with lavender and i have had several different brands and in my opinion this is a top quality.
 It appears to be pure organic lavender oil as stated by seller, The smell is of good quality, not like some of the bargain brand lavender oil.
It is in a 15 ml amber colored bottle and will fit perfectly in your essential oil case.

I purchased these Colore Oil Paint Set of 24 colors to add to my well stocked craft room for me and the kiddos to have fun with. Paints are a must in a well stocked craft room. This oil paint set comes with twenty-four vibrant colors as you can see in my grandsons test of the paints. He has done a great job showing how well these oil paints work .. When I received this Grip Wide Beam COB Pen Light 400 Lumens and pushed the little green light and saw the brightness of this light I got so excited. I cannot tell you how much I love this light. It is the perfect size for so many things whether it is used for working on a car under the hood or even if you needed to stick it to the fender of your vehicle while changing a tire. I can see so many uses for it because I like it so well. My favorite is sticking it to my industrial sewing machine for that extra light sometimes needed to thread the needle or just while sewing.

I also like using it like just a flashlight. The bright light is very bright. The little handle on the end is prefect to hold on to for whatever task you choose to use it for..

The light is LED  with bright, a bit demer and then flashing red. It is powered by three double A batteries.  You turn it off and on by pushing the green end. I love this light.

First Botany Body and Foot Scrub

First Botany Body Scrub is  fantastic for exfoliating your body. It works very well for removing rough skin from your feet or any area on your body that has unwanted dry skin. It has epsom salt, sea salt and salt in it along with rosemary essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, spearmint essential oil, and chamomile essential oil along with Jojoba oil in it.  It has a very pleasant smell, not the strong smell of tea tree oil. ChalkTalk Premium Liquid Chalk Markers

I love my Chalk Talk Premium Liquid Chalk Markers!
In my kitchen I have a little display for chalk markers that all the family seems to have fun with. I post something on there and then someone comes in kids and grandkids and each one enjoys changing up what i have on there or adding to what I have posted. You never know what is gonna be on that chalk board.  Mine is ceramic and the markers work perfect on the ceramic.

Hand Made cat collar

This Jack the Cat. He is the man of the house. He is wearing his new collar purchased through Amazon Reviews. His new collar is handmade with two tone blue brading and has an elastic in the area just before the buckle making it comfortable to him. Ther collar is 11inches in length. Stainless steel drinking straws.

Many years ago I remember glass drinking straws.  I recently purchased these stainless steel drinking straws on Amazon Prime. They come in a set of six complete with tiny brushes to clean them with. The are dishwasher safe and being the penny pincher I am I will save money now because I won't be buying plastic straws any longer.. I know your thinking who needs straws.. Well quite often they are needed in a home.
