Camellia Brand Lady Cream Peas

When I saw the cream peas on Amazon it brought back memories of my grandma, she would raise some cream peas every year. I haven't seen them in dry form in the store and just had to have them. As soon as I got my package in the mail I measured some out and washed them, put them in a pot with a small amount of smoked bacon, salt, pepper and some water.  I had them for supper with some corn bread and hot peppers. Oh so good..

The peas were clean with no rocks. Needed very little cleaning, just washing.
