Ozeri adjustable oscillating tower fan

I purchased the Ozeri adjustable oscillating tower fan for my craft room. My room is large and it can get a bit warm in there during the summer even with my central air. I needed something to help circulate the air . This fan does that very well. In my opinion it puts out plenty of air and it being oscillating makes it even better. It will keep your room cool.

There are three speeds: High, Med, Low and even on low it puts out quite a gush of air.
The fan is very quite.
There are also three modes which are breeze patterns; Sleep, nature, and normal
There is a timer which goes in increments of hours from one hour all the way up to twelve hours.
This fan also comes with a remote control which sets in the top of the fan in it's on little slot when not in use.
The fan is nice in appearance.

Below is my only cons for this fan.
The instructions are not that clear as for as putting it together. It does not tell you which screw goes where. You have to figure that one out yourself. If you add the part of the base that gives the fan height you will need a philips screw driver but if you don't use it a screwdriver is not needed.
The fan is said to be adjustable and the only way it is adjustable is by leaving the stand portion out when putting it together. There is no height adjustment other than that. With the stand it goes to forty-two inches and without thirty-two inches. I chose to leave the that portion of the stand out because of my kitty cats running through the house and my granddaughter playing. With just the base attached it is not as likely to be knocked over. I feel it is very stable with just the base.

Ariete – DeLonghi Stainless Steel Ice Cream Maker

There is no doubt about it, this Ariete – DeLonghi Stainless Steel Ice Cream Maker has put some smiles on my face. I have been making homemade ice cream for many years and have been using an old fashioned type freezer where you had to add the ice and salt around the canister. This can all be somewhat time consuming not to mention the work. This ice cream maker takes all the work out of it and makes making ice cream making so much more enjoyable. I have not only been making ice cream but also frozen yogurt .
It is so simple to use. I just mix my ingredients and put them in the little canister, put it in the machine, put the lid in place, press menu and make my selection and then press start. There is also a selection for setting the time you want it to freeze. It is so simple to use and your ice cream gets nice and firm almost like store bought.
Not only is it easy to use but super easy to clean. After removing your ice cream just do a good rinsing as soon as you empty it and all is good.
This comes with the freezer, the canister and lid along with a measuring cup and spatula. It does not come with a recipe book  which is my ONLY complaint . I do love this freezer.

Minch Tote

The  K05 pu leather bag is very nice looking with it's beautiful red lining. The bag is by the brand Minch. The faux leather bag does have it's brand stamped on it's side. The straps are ten inches tall and are well sewn onto the bag the the red side of the strap sewn into the inside and the black on the outside which should help it to stay well attached. It shouldn't come unattached to the bag being swen like this. The bottom of the bag is fourteen inches long and four inches wide. and the bag itself is thirteen inches tall. It has an attached zippered pouch made of red fabric for  those little extras you might need to carry. This bag is ideal for carrying to work with all the little extras you might need during the day, like an extra sweater or whatever you carry to work with you.  It is even large enough that you could put a small fold up umbrella in the bag. This bag comes with a little attached tag that has care instructions and it has an extra bag for storing the bag when not in use. On this instruction tag it does say to not put too much weight in the bag.

Chillax Cooler

                                                                                   

I love my  Chillax Cooler which is stainless steel and is vacuum Insulated. If you are tired of your can drink being hot when you get down to those last drinks and end up throwing your drink away because those last sips are not so cold but have gotten hot. This is the cooler for you. It keeps the drink cold down to that very last drop. Often I will be doing something around the house and sit my drink down and when I find where I left it sitting my drink is no longer cold but warm. This can cooler has changed that. When I find where I left it sitting my drink is still cool for me.
This can cooler is in one of  my favorite colors a beautiful rich lime green. The cooler comes in two parts. The can holder and an upper part which screws on to the part that secures  the can into the cooler. The ring that secures the can in the cooler is black. I tested the cooler with a 12oz cold drink  and I also tested it with a   16oz can. The 12oz fits fine and the holding ring screws on perfect but the 16oz can does fit in the holder but the securing ring will not go down over the 16oz. So I say it doesn't fit the larger can.

Pizza Cutter

                                                                         

 
I often look outside the box on what different things can be used for. On this  Pizza Cutter Wheel with Stainless Steel blade we used it to cut up a grilled ham and cheese sandwich in bite size pieces for my little great granddaughter. He mom had fixed her a sandwich and asked where the pizza cutter was so she could cut it up. So we decided to check out my new pizza cutter. Other than cutting pizzas and sandwiches it can also be used to cut pastry.
This pizza cutter cut the sandwich very nicely with no problems. The blade is very sharp and does have a plastic guard to put in place when it is not being used. The only thing, being used to a pizza cutter with a handle, this felt a bit awkward but that could be just needing to get used to it. The blade is not only sharp but much larger than a blade on a regular type pizza cutter. It was very easy to clean and does come completely apart. The holder seems to be made of a firm rubber like product and the shield is made of a hard plastic. There are instructions on the box on how to disassemble the pizza cutter. It does not say anywhere with the item if it is dishwasher safe or not.

This white bonded Nylon sewing thread is a very strong durable thread.  This thread is very strong and can be used for many sewing projects especially if you are a hand quilter, I feel it would be great for that. I personally do not recommend it for an embroidery machine. In my opinion it is more of an upholstery type thread. It does have a beautiful shine to it. The spool is large and has lots of thread on it. I am posting a picture for a comparison on the size of the thread.

I have always teased the family that I was gonna die my hair hot pink and lime green. Well these metallic hair chalk helped me out on putting color in my hair as a joke and it is easily  removed with a bit of shampoo. The the colors included are silver, gold, blue, green, light blue and pink. These are great for school spirit. I did receive this at a discounted price for my honest review. 

I ordered the Clementine Womens Triblend Short-Sleeve T-Shirt in aqua for myself in an X-large and it fit but was very snug. I like my clothes to fit loosely. That being said I had my granddaughter to try it on. She wears a size 8-10.It fit her nicely and she is very pleased with the shirt. 

The fabric is very soft and light weight and the shirt seems to be well made. The sleeves are just the right length  It has a rounded neck which has binding made of the same fabric which scoops down just low enough but not too low. This is a very attractive little shirt. It also seems to be wrinkle free. When it was taken out of the package after being shipped it had no wrinkles and if it was gonna be wrinkled that shipping should of done it.

 ASSEM® Wireless LED Solar Powerd Security Motion Sensor Light is a great light. I put mine on my front steps because the steps are wide and if you come up on them in the night you can easily trip if you are not familiar with the steps. I have the light just laying on the side of the step and all is working great. Last night I went out to take a picture of the light and when I opened the door to go out the light was shining bright as if something had activated it. I look around to see what it was and decided it was my outside dog. No that wasn't it. It had been activated by a frog. Yes you read that right. After carefully examining the situation, I discovered there was a frog just sitting there looking at the light almost as if it was hypnotized. He was not the one that had it activated there was a frog on the opposite  side (the charging end) that had jumped causing the light to be activated. So as you can tell it will be activated with small things.   

The light shines dim once it gets dark and when activated it gets brighter. This light is totally solarized and seems to last most of the night. It does not have an on/off switch that you switch but you turn it upside down to turn it off. Also included is screws to mount it with.

I for one hate the sprays for repelling insects. I cannot stand the feel of it on my skin. More times than one I have refused to be sprayed with the stuff and anyone who has lived in Louisiana will tell you the mosquitos will eat you up if you don't use something to repel them. So when I got the opportunity to review the Mosquito Repellent Bracelet Kit  I was a bit hesitant but am so proud I agreed to give it a try. There was something that needed to be done outside and so I put the bracelet on my wrist and was amazed with it. I did not get bit one time. So for now own when I am working in the yard I will wear mine. These things are great. 

The package includes the bracelet, which can be worn on either the wrist or ankle and a carabiner clip which can be hung on the belt loop or where ever you desire.  Four refills which are supposed to last up to fifteen days. The instructions included are very easy to follow. 

The ingredients are citronella, geranium, peppermint, and lavender.

Tree Wall Decal

I had a hallway wall that was blank and I had thought about putting a tree decal on it for sometime but I didn't want to spend the outrageous price of most of the ones I had found.  When I came across this one I was very pleased with what I was seeing. When I received it I couldn't wait to get it put on the wall. I was a bit insecure with it thinking I would need help for I am short and couldn't see how I could get one of these up  by myself. Well let me tell you it was a breeze. All pieces are in numbered sections in lengths that are easy to handle. I put it up in no time and was very pleased with it. You make sure you match all the sections and do not over-lap them and all is good. When I got the tree itself up, I almost didn't put the leaves on the tree because I liked it so much like that. But I went ahead and put the leaves, bird nest and the birds and wording on it. I did not do the frames for I want more protection for my pictures. These are just vinyl frames that go around a picture.  It also comes with a growth chart that I did not use.

 If you are looking for a tree decal I recommend this one for it is easy to install and is quite large.

Rose Essential Oil

Oh my the Rose Essential Oil is the best. The smell is like going up to the rose bush and breathing in the wonderful aroma of the rose.  This oil is a very good grade of oil.. It actually smells like a rose not something they put in a bottle and tried to make it smell rosey.

The rose essential is an antidepressant and will help if you are having problems with depression. Just put some of this oil in your diffuser and lay down in your bed and it will be like sleeping in a bed of rose petals.  There are many other uses for this oil  to include adding it to your own homemade bath bombs and lotions.

Jasmine

I was excited to get to add Jasmine to my oil collection. It is one I did not have. I have been doing oils for a couple of years and  you can always find one you don't have and never know when you are gonna need it.I personally prefer oils over prescription meds. It is natural. This Jasmine has the most pleasant scent and on that, it did not surprise me when looking in my oil books the uses for Jasmine are anxiety, depression, menstrual problems/PMS, skin problems( eczema, wrinkles, greasy) frigidity

You can either apply a couple of drops on the location or apply on  Vita Flex points. Or my favorite diffuse in your favorite oil diffuser. If you are feeling stressed diffuse this and feel yourself calming down. 

This seems to be a very good grade of oil and if it wasn't it wouldn't have such a lovely smell.

 The cheaper oils always smell over perfumed I guess you would say.

Table lamp

This is a wonderful little goose neck desk or table top lamp. For me it  is perfect for my sewing room. It is small enough and light enough that I can move it around wherever needed but large enough to get the job done, whether that is trying to see how to thread a needle or what else may come up like threading tiny beads. The light has very low setting, which would be ideal by the bed with just enough light to see but dim enough it wouldn't bother your bed partner. Then there is the medium tone and a super bright.

The light charges off of your computer or any other USB charging system you may use. The light last about an hour and is turned off/ on by touch. It is black with a black base. The charging cord is white.. The neck as I  described above is goose neck and can be adjusted to your needs. I am very pleased with this light.

Tweezer set

This little set of tweezers are very nice. They seem to hold onto what ever you are attempting to use them for. The set includes three tweezers and a carrying case for them.The carrying case is of a man made vinyl and softly lined with a velcro closure. The tweezers are stainless steel, one of the slanted ones being a beautiful metallic purple. The second is slanted and stainless steel. The third is pointed and this one is for removing those little tiny infected hairs or splinters. This also comes with a pdf file for explaining the uses of the tweezers. I for one was not sure of the use of the pointed one but I had my own ideas. This set seems to be quality made. I am very pleased with this set.

Travel Wall Charger

The BESTEK 100V-220V Travel Wall Charger is perfect if you are traveling. It has connections for US, AU, EU, &UK. There is four USB slots for plugging in your cell phone or what ever needs charging. When plugged in, the USB  slots light up red and green. It has a lock switch to lock the plug which folds down when not in use and when in use you simply slide the switch and it is locked. For me this charging system works great when I have the grandkids over. Everyone seems to all always need something charged and this charger fill the bill. If you are traveling to other counties you will be very well set up with this system.

Super Bright String Lights

I love my Super Bright String Lights which are solar powered. there is a total of one hundred twenty tiny blue lights. They are tiny but very bright. On these lights is enough lenght from the solar panel to the lights to be able to decorate without it causing problems. On the back of the solar panel is two switches. One for turning it off and on and the other is a selection switch. You can leave the lights flashing or non flashing. these little lights are the perfect shade of blue. I love my lights.

The Simple Stackable Meal Prep Containers have three divided compartments and are great for preparing your husbands meal for him to take to work.  Or you can use it for packing a lunch to send to school with the kiddos. It has an ideal compartment size.  Actually if you are trying to cut back and loose a bit of weight, this container helps with keeping the proportions to a minimum.  The lid fits nice and snug and these are dishwasher safe. There are a total of ten containers with lids and seem to be very sturdy.So whether you are packing a lunch or just preparing an after school snack for the kids these are ideal.

Café de Loja

Café de Loja Premium dark roast fresh gourmet coffee comes in whole beans so you need a means of grinding the coffee beans.. My luck my coffee grinder decided it wanted to be trashed so I substituted and put the beans in the food processor. Where there is a will there is a way. So I ground the coffee beans and made me a very good cup of rich full flavored coffee. I put the grounds in my keruing coffee filter and used the Keuring. This is a good grade of coffee and you can get several cups out of the 3.5 ounces.

Great Sewing kit for traveling or college student

 I purchased the Sewing Thread Spool Kit with thirty nine spools of thread thinking it would help me with my thread color collection.. There is always a few colors you don't have, no matter how many spools of thread you have. These spools are not quite large enough for me to use on my sewing machine because after putting some on my bobbin it would probably cut me short on the amount of thread I had for sewing the item. But I do find it would be a great little emergency sewing kit for hand sewing. It comes complete with thirty nine very popular colors along with a measuring tape which is 60 in. /150 cm long, A package of needles for hand sewing along with a set of snips for cutting the thread. All in an easy to store case with snap lid and a handle.  The thread is a polyester and seems to be very strong. I do sew a lot and know the difference for I have gotten thread that would break very easily . This will not. I feel this would be a great kit for traveling or someone going away to college..

Raw Shea Butter

Since I have been doing essential oils, I have been interested in making my own lotions and one of the ingredients often used is Shea Butter. I really love this butter. After receiving it I have found so many uses for it.   It can be used for different skin rashes, sun burns, insect bites, even used during pregnancy it can help  prevent those awful stretch marks. You can use it for burns when getting burnt from hot grease, you know when the bacon is frying and the hot grease pops out on you. We have all had that happen  while cooking.  This really is a butter you need to keep around. This is a good quality of butter not a knock off with other things added. It is 100% pure shea butter.

Smith's Mason Jar Pump

I love this Smith's Mason Jar pump. This pump will fit most small mouth jars regardless of the jar size, from a half pint, a pint or a quart size jar. It is made of brushed  stainless steel so it will not rust. The pump pumps easily so that is an access. It was very easy to prime it did not take a lot of pumping to get it started.  You can use it for liquid soap in your bathroom  or even use liquid dishwashing detergent at the kitchen sink. The pump comes in two parts, the main part with the pump and the tube to go down in the jar. This tube is long enough for a quart size jar. It does not have to be used for only soap . You could use it for your homemade lotions as well or whatever you desire.

Essential oil diffuser

This little diffuser is ideal for a bedroom nightstand. It is large enough to do the job but small enough to not take up too much room. This diffuser comes with four parts, the base with the lid, the electrical cord and a s small plastic container to use to fill the diffuser. The lid has a slight screw to it to take it off. The light can be used on or off simply by pushing the button. When the light is on  it changes by fading in and out and there are seven different colors. When there is no water in the diffuser it will not work, therefore once it diffuses all the water out in the light mist, it will then shut off. Thee is also a power light that shows when it is powered on. You can add your favorite essential oil to the water and have a good peaceful nights rest. There is also instructions included with diagram .

Executive Aromatherapy Diffuser

The  Executive Aromatherapy Diffuser is a very attractive diffuser. It is quite elegant looking.  It has two speeds, high and low and you merely change this by pushing the button on the right. You can use it with the lights on or off.   When the lights are on they are just attractive with the light changing from one color to the next with a fade in and fade out effect. The light does not put out a lot of light. To me it just gives a nice relaxing effect.

The water tank holds approximately one and a half cups of water. It will diffuse for eight hours on high mode and  twelve in low mode. So since it will go all night, put you a little lavender oil in it and get you a good nights sleep. Or try a combination of lemon, lavender and peppermint and wake up feeling great the next morning. Or just your favorite oil whatever you choose to relax.

The diffuser comes in three pieces, the base, the top and the electrical part along with a complete diagram and instructions to include a few oils suggestions. It also has instructions on how to properly clean it.

HDMI Switch

The HDMI Switch with the remote has solved a problem we had. My granddaughter would want to play games and  it would mean pulling out the television and plugging everything in. Now with the HDMI switch box the problem has been solved. The switch box has one input and three outputs on the back and comes with four HDMI cords for hooking everything up. Along with the power card and remote. It is very easy to hook up and and comes with clear instructions.

Field Peas & Corn Bread

I am a girl from the south and was raised on peas, beans and potatoes. I had eaten field peas most of my life but they were always fresh field peas. I had never eaten them dried. Those were saved for planting. I got excited when I saw the dried field peas and wanted to give them a try. I cooked them with a bit of salt, ham and ham base. They were very good.  The peas were clean and I did not see any bad peas in the bag.Yes they do taste different than the fresh ones but they are still good. There is also a recipe on the back of the bag I will be trying..

25 watt dimmable light bulbs

I recently purchased these 25 watt dimmable light bulbs for my Himalayan salt lamp. I was told I should leave it burning all the time. So in that I knew I would need extra bulbs. It is better to always be prepared. The bulbs come in a box of twelve. Each bulb is boxed in its own individual box and clearly labeled.  Therefore there is no problem with storing and it help to prevent breakage. Each bulb fits an E 12 socket which is a screw in. The bulbs are clear and are very bright for such a small bulb.

Heylr Manual Can Opener

The Heylr manual can opener  is not only a can opener but it also has the hook like bottle opener. This can opener has very smooth round handles that are not too large for small hands  and is made of stainless steel although the handle for turning it is made of a hard type plastic. This opener also has a little beveled edge that could be used for getting the lid out when it falls into the can.  A nd we have all had that problem if you have ever used a manual can opener.. I have even cut my hand from it..But with the bevel edge, that is actually a part of the bottle opener, you can get the lid out easily. The handles have hooks on them which makes it easy to hang it if you don't want it in your drawer. The opener seems to be sharp and well made and is dishwasher safe.

Wall Guard

For some time I have had it in my head to put an extension rod under my kitchen sink to hold spray bottles.. This way I would have more room under the kitchen sink. and at the same time it would make it easier to keep up with my spray bottles.. Yes most of them are used in the kitchen area. Just putting an extension rod up didn't work for the rod would slide down. I came across the Wall Guard for Pressure Gates and thought right away that this was the answer to my project. And they work perfectly.. The wall guard has a center hole in it which a screw can be inserted  and with the indention in the wall guard the end of the rod stays in place.

The wall guard is made of a type of rubber and is white in color. It also has a roughness on the back. These are also, as their intended use,will protect your wall from scaring or damage.

Salt Lamp

I was visiting  my grandson and heard him and a friend of his talking about a salt lamp and decided right away I was gonna get me one. Well the very next week I got the opportunity to review one.. I LOVE IT! I have always had sinus problems and in this I would wake up with my nose dry each morning and now I am not. I was having a few problems sleeping and since I burn the salt lamp all night that too has eased up.. I am sleeping all night most every night now. I love this salt lamp. It comes with the lamp on a wooden base. The cord for the light with a dimmer switch, which will go to a somewhat bright light to a very light light which you can barley see it is lit. Along with extra bulbs.

Youga Strap

To begin with I would like to say I have never done yoga before but after a relative was advised by a physician that it would be good for them not only for physical reasons but for stress relief... I decided I would look into it and when I got the opportunity to test the yoga strap I jumped at it so I would have what was needed when attempting this yoga. This strap is approximately 98 inches long and has a slip buckle on the end for fastening to make the loop needed for stretching. It is made of a durable fabric that can handle the stretching and will not give as long as the slip buckle is done properly.

Mulit colored bubble air stone

The multi colored bubble air stone is a great new addition to my aquarium. I love the effect it gives my aquarium.. the peacefulness of watching an aquarium is so relaxing. Now with the added bubbles with the LED lights just makes it perfect. The bubble stone is round with the lights in the center. The light changes constantly from one color to the next.  This comes with the hose to attach it to your aquarium pump and the bubble stone with the light. You just plug the hose to your pump and to the stone and plug it in and it starts working right away. I placed a bit of the gravel on the stone to help hold it in place. My only con with this is the placement of the cord coming from the light. It is placed at an odd area making it hard to hide the cord.. I don't like the hoses and wires to show and it is really not long enough to bury it in my 55 gal aquarium. But I do love this little bubble stone.. My aquarium is in my bedroom and the LED light makes a perfect night light.

Universal Camera lens for Iphone/ipad

The detachable universal camera lens for the iphone or ipad is fun to play with if you are looking to give your pictures a  different look. The lens gives a fisheye effect to your pictures. This comes with five separate pieces, the attachment that goes on your phone, two lens that have a magnetic ring to hold it onto the attachment, and two lens covers. Also there is a little bag to keep the small pieces all together when not in use.  There is a different effect with both lens. and can be fun to play with.

Majestic Pure Lavender Essential Oil

I have been using lavender essential oils for some time now. The Majestic Pure Lavender Essential Oil

 does smell a bit different than the regular lavenders I have used in the past . It also has a VERY oily feel to it more oily feeling than the ones I have used in the past. I have used Lavender for bug bites, bow bows, and even sprained ankles.
 I had a mosquito bite and applied this oil and it does not work quite as well as the other lavender. Although I do feel it is good for putting on the dogs and cats to repel the fleas  for it is the smell that repels them.

Lighted water pump

I purchased this little lighted pump with the thoughts of adding it to my large Urn fountain I had in my front yard.. But they were not compatible, which was my fault, no one else's. So when this happened I thought,  now what am I gonna do with this little pump with beautiful colored lights.. The mind went to working so I put it in a fountain I had in my back yard that only had a pump which had quit working some time ago. After getting it positioned and everything working proper, I am very happy with this little light pump. It is small and has a dial on the side to adjust the flow of the water.  The water flow goes really strong or not so powerful .. In my fountain  I had to reduced the pressure with the little dial on the side. The water shot out over the waterfall area before I turned the dial down.  So it is somewhat strong.  The lights are not real bright but they do add a bit of color.

Roman Chamomile Essential Oil

I purchased the Roman Chamomile Essential Oil and have found it very rewarding. I sometimes have trouble sleeping but when diffusing this oil, I actually get a very good nights sleep. The Roman Chamomile is a great essential oil for someone under stress, or if your going through a period of depression, loneliness,or even anxiety. I am not a doctor this is just my opinion of this oil.. I feel it helps me. I find the oil to have a very calming effect. It is an oil that is safe to use in the room with babies although a lot of the oils are not safe for babies.. I am not going to tell you it is the same or different from other brands of Roman Chamomile for I have not used the other brands in this particular oil. I only know how it has worked for me. Insulated Water Bottle

 I really put the Hydronk Ultimate Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle to the test to check to see if cold water would really stay cold in it.. I filled it with cold water from my frig and then set it out on the grill. The grill being black making it even hotter than our hot Louisiana weather..I had all intentions of bringing it inside to check it late in the afternoon but naturally having company I forgot all about it.. I went outside this morning checking my flowers and there it set on the grill.. I naturally thought the water would be warm after setting all day out in the weather... OH MY GOODNESS!!! The water was still cold. Almost as cold as it was when I first put it in the bottle even  after sitting in the Louisiana heat all day.

The cap also surprised me. It goes on and off really easily and I thought it would leak... Again it totally surprised me. It does not leak the least bit. This bottle is really amazing. I would give it fifty stars if allowed.

It is light weight and a beautiful fashionable  green color..

Copper Wire string lights

When I got the opportunity to review the seven foot string of lights on the copper wire. I got so excited.I just love these little lights. They are easy to use in your decorating. I have a glass antique vase that means very much to me along with her son's antique marble collection of 325 marbles that mean very much to me. I placed the lights and marbles in the antique vase layering them. The lights are battery operated and the little battery box is small enough to sit behind the vase without it being seen. If you have something you been wanting to display in a unique way, these little tiny lights on the copper wire is the answer.

Those who really know me: the vase belonged to Aunt Adell and the marbles, yes all 365 of them belonged to Tommy Vaughn..

A little something different...

Ok so I get it. Those that have looked at my blog probably think I do nothing but shop and do reviews.. Well that's just not true.. One of the things I do is machine embroidery. Yes it is one of my hobbies.  I do my best to keep myself busy. My grandmother always said "An idle mind is the Devils workshop" and we all know that is true. If you keep yourself busy, you are keeping your mind busy. It helps to relax you and helps to keep you from thinking of the problems you have in your life and this world we live in.. So keep busy find something to do. I cannot understand someone saying they are bored, for if they will open their minds there is always, and I mean ALWAYS something that can be done. Whether it is mowing the yard, cleaning the house, or whatever you do.. Keep busy.  

So back to my embroidery .. this is a little job I got the pleasure of doing for a very nice lady. Yes there's gonna be another set of twins arriving soon. A girl and a boy. Feel free to leave a comment and tell me your opinion,.

Folding Shovel

This little shovel reminds me so much of the old military shovels that my husband used to have. I have wanted one for a long time to go in my truck. I like to have one in there for various reasons one being able to dig up a plant on the side of the road in the ditch. Yes we do that in the country.The shovel is made of good quality material and folds up completely and fits in a little bag for storing and it fits great under the back seat in my truck. The handle is not just a straight type handle it actually has a handle on it which makes it easier for digging for me when digging up plants. It has a nice point on the end of the shovel itself, which helps it to cut into the ground. It also has a pick attached to it which could be used for various reason.

The shovel is just heavy enough to do the job but not too light that it will bend easy.

Stainless Coffee Strainer... Yes I love coffee

First off I have been a heavy coffee drinker for most of my life. I love my coffee. Years ago people had what was called a drip coffee pot. The coffee was put in this little metal strainer and then the water would be poured over the strainer.. Yes much like the the stainless steel pour over dripper only you would be making several cups at one time instead of just one cup. The coffee would have such a rich robust flavor. When I use this stainless coffee strainer the flavor of the coffee is much like the old drip pots. I really like this little strainer which can be used for either coffee or tea, Yes even herbal teas.  The strainer is also great if your power goes out and you want coffee as long as you have a way of heating up your water. I have a gas range so for me there is no problem.

The strainer fits perfect on top of your coffee mug or cup. It is dishwasher safe.

BAKERZO Baking Mats

I have always been a bit "ole school" when it comes to my kitchen and am sometimes hesitant on trying new things such as the cooking mats. I have always used parchment paper to line my cookie sheets whether it was for baking cookies or my homemade rolls.. But at the same time I don't like throwing money in the garbage and that is exactly what I have been doing over the years using parchment paper. With these cooking mats I save money. There is also no need for greasing or spraying the pans. Another money saver.  My baking goods don't stick to the pan with the mats and the clean up is a breeze just wipe them down with warm water.
